Shelby Kimball

About

A native Fort Worthian who grew up in old and new homes in historic neighborhoods, Shelby has been around real estate his entire life. He helped hold the measuring tape for his appraiser parents when he was in elementary school, delivered reports when he was in high school, and worked at the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University when he was a student there. He holds a BBA in Management from TAMU. Shelby was also a Professional Real Estate Inspector for five years and a teacher and coach in the FWISD. He now resides in Eastern Parker County with his wife, four boys, dogs, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs and cats.

Shelby is involved with the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors where he was President of the Board in 2020. He is still actively involved in the Association, serving on a variety of committees, including the Texas Realtors Board of Directors, NAR Board of Directors and the Texas Realtors Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Currently he serves in the leadership of the Texas Realtors Housing Opportunity Foundation. He was President of the Fort Worth-Arlington Chapter of Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) where he currently serves on the Board of Directors and is the Advocacy Team Chair. He has been active in serving his town as well, where he was the secretary and vice chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Annetta and on the Zoning Board of Adjustment.

Shelby was the 2020 Charles McMillan Realtor of the Year, given to those who have made a significant impact on the GFWAR organization, the real estate profession and the community.
