About
Sarah was born and raised in Minneapolis proper. She started her family in the same home her mother raised her in, so she understands the emotional ties that can come with a house. Before real estate, Sarah worked in theater, retail management, had a quick stint with a nonprofit, and a few years as a birth doula. Through all of that, she developed a love for learning and connecting with people. We all have more in common than we think.
Sarah now lives in Eagan (after swearing she'd never move to the 'burbs, turns out it's actually quite nice) with her husband, son, two step-daughters, and a chatty, toothless cat named Nova. She prefers the beach over the mountains, coffee over tea, she believes the book is always better than the movie, and that exchanging stickers is a love language, and she dreams of traveling to Italy for all the wine and cheese.
A bit about her professional side; Sarah serves on the board of the Minnesota chapter of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance. She is an avid ally and a strong believer in social justice. She serves on the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee within SPAAR (St. Paul Area Association of Realtors) and on the Diversity and Inclusion Team within Edina Realty. Sarah also serves on the Government Affairs Committee and the Housing Affordability task force within SPAAR.
Since the summer of 2020, Sarah has delved deep into her own learning and uncovering her own biases to improve how she serves her community. Sarah firmly believes that everyone wants the same three basic things: a safe place to call home, good food to eat, and people to love. If she can help with any one of those, she will call it a success.
